Erik Nieuwenburg and Toni Sfirtsis picked up the thread with a look at tomorrow. Their message: value increasingly arises between organisations, not just within them. Specialisation is increasing, make or buy is becoming make, buy or ally, and continuity is taking on a broader meaning. It’s no longer just about your own organisation continuing to function, but also about the digital connections you have come to depend on.<\/p>\n\n
That development called for a concrete answer. That answer is called DTRX: Trusted Digital Exchange from Datarotonde. Not a new product, but the next step in platform, service, knowledge and responsibility. Erik and Toni explained how Datarotonde is deliberately broadening into complementary market segments, and why role architecture, clear responsibilities that connect seamlessly, forms the core of this.<\/p>\n\n
At the heart of it all was Our Promise: seven principles that clients and partners can hold us accountable to, ranging from ownership of your own data to a credible exit and long-term responsibility.<\/p>\n\n
From promise to development agenda<\/h4>\n\n
After the break, Xander van Rijn and William Maas engaged with each other and with the audience about what that promise means in practice. Always from two angles: what does the client notice, and what needs to happen under the hood to make that possible? They took the audience through three value themes, more insight and monitoring, more convenience and freedom, and more security and reliability, as well as concrete roadmap items such as the Landscape Monitor, Track & Trace and sovereign cloud options.<\/p>\n\n
The message was clear: not a collection of standalone products, but one future-proof foundation with services tailored to the client’s needs and complexity.<\/p>\n\n Keynote speaker Menno Lanting broadened the perspective. His core message: technology alone doesn’t change an organisation. Many digital transformations and AI initiatives deliver less than expected, simply because new technology gets bolted onto existing structures instead of the organisation itself being rethought. Lanting guided the audience through tensions that don’t disappear but need to be managed, such as autonomy versus cohesion and efficiency versus resilience, ending with the question that would shape the rest of the afternoon: what should an organisation continue to control itself, and what can it responsibly hand over to the network?<\/p>\n\n That question formed the direct lead-in to the closing panel. Moderated by Toni Sfirtsis, Menno Lanting, Roland Schweigl (Kleurrijk Wonen \/ chairman of CorpoNet), Anne Betzema (municipality of Zutphen) and Mario Renes (Ketenstandaard) engaged with each other and with the audience. Each speaking from their own role in the chain, they reflected on where we came from, where we stand now, and what is needed to keep control in the future as well. Not a search for forced consensus, but an honest conversation about where interests align and where tension exists.<\/p>\n\n That question formed the direct lead-in to the closing panel. This turned the day into a genuine dialogue rather than a one-way presentation, with input from clients and partners directly counting.<\/p>\n\n By the end of the afternoon, one thing was clear: Trusted Digital Exchange is not the conclusion of ten years of Datarotonde, but the beginning of the next ten. What was gathered that afternoon will feed directly into our roadmap.
