Standard where possible, custom where needed

For just over a year now, housing association Rochdale has been using digital signing, an important step in standardising the rental process. “This not only makes the rental process more efficient, customer-friendly and transparent, but also creates room for customisation,” say Information Manager Saskia van den Hurk and Project Manager Eugénie Visser. In an interview with CorporatieGids Magazine, they share their lessons learned and plans to further expand digital signing within the organisation.

Integrating digital signing into the rental process requires multiple integrations, including with the ERP system, the DMS and the signing software. “For this, we partnered with Datarotonde. They not only implemented these integrations together with Rochdale, but also managed the project on the supplier side. This meant Rochdale was fully supported in coordinating communication between vendors to ensure the integrations worked properly. Datarotonde was highly involved with our organisation and actively contributed solutions whenever we encountered challenges. For example, around document archiving and how best to store documents within the framework of our ERP system.”
